Refund and Dispute Policy

1. Refund Eligibility

Nightlight offers digital goods and subscriptions. Due to the nature of digital content, refunds are generally not provided once the content is delivered to your account unless required by law.

Delivery is defined as the digital item or subscription feature being accessible from your Nightlight account.

1.1 Subscriptions

Refunds for subscriptions (e.g. Nightlight Auronita) may be granted if requested within 7 days of the purchase date and only if the subscription features have not been significantly used. Partial refunds or pro-rated refunds are not provided after this period.

1.2 Digital Items

Digital items such as profile customizations, voicepacks, themes, or digital gifts are non-refundable once delivered to your account, unless the item is defective or there was an error in the transaction.

2. EU Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with EU consumer protection laws, you may have the right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days. However, by purchasing digital content on Nightlight and explicitly agreeing to immediate access, you waive your right of withdrawal once the content is delivered.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at [email protected] within 7 days of the transaction. Please include your account username, order ID, and a description of the issue. We may request additional information to process your request.

4. Abuse and Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of abuse, fraud, or if we believe the refund policy is being exploited. Users who attempt to repeatedly request refunds without valid reasons may be suspended or banned from Nightlight.

5. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account until the issue is resolved. We encourage users to contact us directly to resolve any payment issues quickly and fairly.

6. Governing Law

This Refund and Dispute Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic.
